How does your service work?
Here are the steps involved.

Contact us : To set up your in home no obligation free consultation, Call 757 525 9663 or simply fill out our contact form located at the bottom of every page.

Consultations : We will come to your home to meet you and your pets. We learn about your pets and go over any paperwork that is needed for us to start the service. You can meet your pet sitter, show us your pet’s routine, entry instructions and anything else you would like done at each visit. The consultation is completely free and there is no obligation to book.

Keys & Alarms : If you are ready to book after the consultation, we will need 2 working keys and any alarm information to gain access to your home.

Booking : After your consultation is complete and we have the keys and/or entry information, you can book at anytime. All non emergency and regular bookings (ie. next week, next month) should be done using our scheduling email. Same day and next day requests can be done via text or phone.

Visits : Once your visit is booked your pet sitter or dog walker will come to your home within the agreed scheduled time frame. We will use any notes or directions given at the consultation or updated by you at a later date to complete the visit.

Digital Updates : After each visit is complete you will receive a digital report card via text and/or email. This will notify you about the visit, the start and end time, a map showing that we were there, where your dog walked, what potty business they did, a picture and a personal note from the dog walker.

Where do you provide services?

We provide our pet sitting and dog walking services to ALL areas of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Norfolk. YES, that means even those areas such as Sandbridge, Pungo, Western Branch and Deep Creek.

How long will you stay with my pets or walk my dog?

You tell us! There is no one size fits all when it comes to our fur babies. You know your pets best and can select from our guaranteed visit time lengths of 20 min, 30 min, 45 min or 60 min. We also have a 90 min visit that can be scheduled after 5pm. You tell your pet sitter what you would like done at each visit for your home and pets.

How do I know what time length I should select?

If you are uncertain of what visit length you think you need this can be discussed at your free consultation. Every client has different needs and what fits best for a high energy young pup certainly would be different from the needs of a senior dog with medical issues. With these guaranteed visit lengths you can be sure every visit is a tail-wagging good time and that all your pet’s needs are met without paying for more than you need.

Will you stay longer if needed?
If a pet has additional or unexpected needs at a visit we certainly stay and make sure your home and pet are well cared for and all needs are met. At BNBR giving extra time at a visit when needed has always been and always will be complimentary client care. We pride ourselves on always going the extra mile for our clients.
How will I know if my visit is done or dog walked?

Yes. Our pet sitters use an app on their smart phones that GPS time stamps their arrival and departure time. If you request a dog walk you can see where your dog has walked as well. All this information will be sent automatically to you via email and/or text once the visit is complete. The digital report will also include what potty business was done, a checklist of requests, a photo of your pet and a personal note from the sitter. We are committed to that promise and this leaves you with no mystery as to what your furry friend received at each visit.

I work shift work. Can I book dog walks for night time?

Yes you can book a night time walk for your dog. We preform services between 6:30am and 10:30pm.

Will I have the same pet sitter or dog walker at every visit?

We make sure you have 2 dog walkers familiar with you and your dog. We do not cancel dog walks if a dog walker has an emergency, illness or unexpected event, your tail will always be covered by our 2 sitter system. With many of our regular vacation pet sitting clients we have found having 3 pet sitters familiar is a bonus for the client. It helps accommodate late notice service requests especially during those busy holidays and summer months! Are we insured?

We sure are! BNBR is a licensed, bonded and fully insured company. We go that extra mile and do a complete background check on ALL the pet care providers with us. This isn’t just a hobby for us, this is our passion and our business and we take that seriously.

Do you pick up after my dog?

We certainly do! We carry biodegradable poo bags and pick it up poos and dispose of properly. We treat your yard and your neighborhood as we would our own. We never leave a mess and we make sure our furry friends do not take care of business in your neighbor’s yards or gardens. Messes in your home are also always cleaned up without any extra charge.

Do you need my key?

Yes we need to receive 2 working keys for each client. See our Policies page for more details.
